advocacy, education and research Links of interest: President's Message We had a great convention in Daytona Beach! The speakers and the workshops were excellent! Thanks to everyone for their hard work and their help! It is important to send your branch officer forms to the Association and to Barbara Stevens, bfs1139@verizon net. Branches that fail to this will miss critical mailings from the Association and from the state! If you need help contact Barbara by email (be sure to put FL AAUW in the subject line) or look up her phone number in the state directory. Treasurers should be sure to mail their branch dues reports to the Association and Florida's Finance Director, Lenice DeLuca by June 30th. These are also important. If you need assistance contact Lenice at paradiseaccounting@comcast.net and put FL AAUW in the subject line. You may also call her. Just look up her number in the state directory Diane EdEqChange, a bi-weekly email memo that has been sent to State Presidents since November 2004, is now available on line. EdEqChange contains the latest news about a wide variety of AAUW information and reading it, including the back issues now on the website, is an excellent way to keep up with the latest changes and initiatives at AAUW.
