www.womenstreaty.org  Learn more about CEDAW, the Convention to Eliminate Discrimination Against Women,  which has been signed by 185 nations, but not the United States, Iran or Somalia.  It has been more effective in changing lives than the Beijing Conference.

www.care.org.  An organization dedicated to educating girls in order to provide a high return on investments in the fight to end global poverty.

www.onesharedworld.org  A campaign to raise awareness of global poverty and generate a dialogue about what Americans can do to help tackle it.
