                                         ABOUT US

The branch was founded in 1950 and has been going strong ever since. For thirty years our branch and the Venice branch have provided the woman power for the Sarasota Public High Schools Academic Olympics program. This is a competition between teams from the participating schools where the students must answer questions in a timed setting. The competitions are Tuesday afternoons at 3 pm throughout January, February and March.
