ABOUT US

The Northern Palm Beach County AAUW Charitable Foundation offers scholarships to Palm Beach County Women residents who are currently enrolled at a college or university. The deadline to submit applications for the 2012-2013 academic year is March 15, 2012. Previous applicants and scholarships recipients may apply again for the upcoming academic year. The application is now available for printing or saving.

The Foundation also raises money for the AAUW Funds that provide fellowships and grants for women needing financial assistance for masters and doctoral studies and the Legal Advocacy Fund which helps women who have been victims of harassment or discrimination.

We support our adopted class of four year olds at the Hispanic Human Resource Child Development Center with books and supplies as well as providing assistance with special activities.

We teach a series of 8 to 10 lessons about how to be financially independent and manage money well to the teenage girls enrolled at the Palm Beach County PACE Center for Girls, a day treatment center that provides counseling and other services to these at-risk teens . If you are interested in learning more about this program contact moseleykaren@comcast.net. We also donated needed supplies and materials and make a small financial contribution.

We host a Book Study Group, Out and About Group, Dinner Club, and a Bridge Group. Contact us for details. The Book and Bridge Groups meet all year.
