ABOUT US
The Northern Palm Beach County AAUW Charitable Foundation offers scholarships to
Palm Beach County Women residents who are currently enrolled at a college or
university. The deadline for the 2010-2011 academic years
was March 1st. The Foundation also raises money for the AAUW Funds that provide
fellowships and grants for women needing financial assistance for
masters and doctoral studies and the Legal Advocacy Fund which helps women who
have been victims of harassment or discrimination..
We support our adopted class of four year olds at the Hispanic Human Resource
Child Development Center with books and supplies as well as providing assistance
with special activities.
We teach a series of 8 to 10 lessons about how to be financially
independent and manage money well to the teenage girls enrolled at the Palm
Beach County PACE Center for Girls, a day treatment center that provides
counseling and other services to these at-risk teens . If you are interested in
