Meeting Dates, Times and Locations

The Clearwater Branch meets the second Saturday of the month from October through April in various locations in Clearwater and neighboring municipalities.

About Us

Annually the branch awards math and science awards to outstanding female middle school students in Clearwater and financial aid to  a "Woman on the Way",

 2012 Calendar of Events

Saturday, January 28th - 11:30 am  - Social Hour; Noon - Luncheon.  Joint meeting with the North Pinellas County League of Women Voters. 1 pm.  "Past and Future Bills Affecting Voters and Women." Speaker: Senator Mike Faisano. Greek Town Grill, 1230 Cleveland Street, Clearwater. $16 per person.  Reservation deadline was January 20th.

Wednesday, February 15th - 12:30 pm -  Human Trafficking. Mary Palamar, Speaker. Light lunch available for $5.  Clearwater Main Library, 100Osceola Street, Clearwater.  RSVP by February 10th to Barbara at barfish33980@aol.com.

Saturday, February 18th- 11 am- 2pm.  Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show to benefit Women on the Way.  Belleair Country Club. Tickets $30 each. Contact mrsgar@yahoo.com for more information.

Tuesday, March 20th.  State convention room reservation deadline.  Call 1-800-775-5936 and ask reservations for the AAUW Convention room rate of $115 plus tax.  This includes free parking.

Wednesday, March 21st - noon.  Women's History Program at St. Petersburg College. Details will be in the March newsletter.

Sunday, April 1st. Postmark deadline for convention early registrations at $50.  After that registration cost increases to $65 per person.

Tuesday, April 17th - Equal Pay Day

April 20-22 - Annual AAUW Florida State Convention.  Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort and Marina.  555 NE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, 34996. Linda Hallman AAUW Executive Director will be the opening night speaker.

Saturday, May 5th - 9:45 am - noon.  Brunch.  Annual Meeting and Installation of officers. Belleair Country Club.  $21 per person.  Reservation deadline to be announced.

May 31 - June 2 - Annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders.  University of Maryland.  College Park.
