The purpose of AAUW is to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
 WESTON BRANCH

AREA SERVED

Located west of Fort Lauderdale in growing Western Broward County, the Weston  Branch draws members from throughout that part of the county and particularly serves the communities of Cooper City, Coral Springs, Davie, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Pine Island,  Plantation, Sunrise and Weston.  The Weston Branch was formed in July 2007.

BRANCH MEETINGS
Branch meetings are held the second Thursday of the month from  7 – 9 pm on the campus of American Intercontinental University, 2250 N. Commerce Parkway, Weston, FL 33326

CALENDAR OF EVENTS 2011-2012

Saturday February 25th - 9:30 am - 3:30 pm - Get Up and Go Conference for Business and Professional Women in Career Transition. American Intercontinental University, 2250 N. Commerce Parkway, Weston.

Saturday, March 10th - Meeting in conjunction with an International Women's Day Celebration.

March 20th - State convention room reservation deadline at the Hutchinson Island Marriot Beach Resort and Marina.  Call 1-800-775-5936 and ask for reservations and then state that you want the AAUW Convention rate: Single and double rooms are $115 plus tax.  Room rate includes free parking.

Tuesday, April 17th  - Equal Pay Day

April 20-22 - AAUW Florida Annual Convention.  Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort and Marina.  555 NE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, 34996..

Saturday, May 19th - Membership Luncheon and Annual Business Meeting

May 31 - June 2 - Annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders.  University of Maryland, College Park
